I had a good experience with Kings Transmissions. About 8-10 years ago they fixed my old Bronco, this time with a newer car they gave me a quote and kept their word even when it took an extra day to complete. I received a phone call with a status update each day, I would recommend them based on my experience.

Allen was great. He quoted me 75 on the phone then charged me 65 and he had to put twice the amount of time into my car that he quoted. Top knotch.

This is the second truck I have taken to Eric. My first truck was ford and it had the E4OD. (vacation ruiner) as they are known to have problems. I tow a lot and that transmission never failed because I had Eric service it once a year. This summer The Transmission in my Dodge went out on vacation and I was able to limp it home from oregon to have Eric look at it and he built me a transmission for my needs he didn't try to sell me anything that was not needed. I would recommend his service to anyone.

I was referred to Kings by my brother who is a mechanic but does not do transmission work at his shop. I talked to Mark who was great on the phone when I explained what was happening and that my car was giving a transmission code (some mechanic talk my brother told me), he said to drive it down and he would look at it for free and then call me with the info on costs. Funny thing was that yes, it had a transmission code but the current issue causing the problems was the catalytic converter. My bro had mentioned the cat being a problem but thought the transmission was causing the immediate problem. Well, Mark gave me a price to fix it but did state that they are not an emissions shop so to check with my bro as he may be able to do it for less. Even with my family discount etc. at my brother shop, Kings Trans ended up being less. So...bottom line, Kings figured out that the problem wasnt the transmission (yet), gave me a great price to fix and had me fixed within 1 day. He gave me the info for getting my transmission fixed as well. As soon as I scrounge up the $ I will for sure be heading back down to Kings to get it fixed.

I loved the service and they were very honest with me. They also went above and beyond there duty for fixing my car. My transmission blew up and they were able to fix it very quickly and even though I had a small problem after they did they fixed that to for free and upgraded our warranty for 2 years. I love there honesty and the fact they do not charge anymore then any other mechanic.

I needed a new clutch for my Focus and called about 6 shops before I found one with a reasonable price. Seriously, I'm not spending 1200 dollars to put a new clutch in my SOHC 2003 Focus. King's offered to do it for 760 and did a damn fine job. Good Honest work, good honest price.

Maybe I'm just bitter but it is always a bad thing when I have to take my car here :( Everyone is nice and helpful. They seem honest. Everything that I have had done over the years is still working so that's good right?!
