King's transmission is awesome. I have used them for all my auto repairs for the last 7+ years. They have consistently demonstrated there knowledge and quality thru their workmanship and parts used to perform to repair my vehicles. Their service in my opinion is top notch and they stand behind it. As an example, the transmission went out in my Honda van, the dealer replacement transmission and another one from a local shop each lasted about 30,000 miles, King's is still going strong with 80,000+ miles on it.

We bought our Honda CRV new in 2008. It's been a great vehicle and there have been no major issues until now. The AC went out a couple of years ago and since we rarely need it here in the PNW, we decided to forgo the $1200.00 repair for a new compressor pump. It recently started making a terrible rattling noise and I was unable to determine the cause. Dropped it off at King's and the next day, Dan called to give me the bad news. The compressor was actually coming apart and would need to be replaced. When I explained about not wanting to spend so much money, he offered an alternative solution. One that would keep the vehicle running properly, but would eliminate the AC, which we were already fine with. And it only cost half of what we would have had to pay. They got us fixed up and my wife picked up the car and headed out. Several miles down the road, it stopped accelerating properly and started chugging and lurching. She limped it back to King's and they said they would have a look. Dan called to explain that a solenoid in the oil system had gone bad. He waived the diagnostic fees, replaced the solenoid, topped off the oil, and had us back on the road the next day. The work was performed in a timely manner, and the customer service was excellent! Definitely will be back when/if more work is needed.

This place is reliable . They do the repairs you ask for and get you informed as to any additional repairs needed before hand. They do good work and treat you right. I think the owner of this place is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. The shop in Seattle checked out a problem I had with my transfer case after I took it to Nissan. Nissan recommended one thing that would have cost me a new transmission and transfer case they resolved the problem at no cost and diagnosed the problem completely different and related to what Nissan told me.

Kings saved me about $1000 from the first place I had it towed too. It took a little longer but they did a great job communicating everything with me. I would use them again! Thanks

My Truck broke down on the weekend. I called Monday morning to ask if I could have it towed to their lot. Dan said yes. I expected they would get to it in a week or so, but by 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, they called with the diagnosis and by 2 PM the next day it was fixed. It is so nice to have a shop you can trust.
